It creates a 3-d environment on your desktop and lets your organize all your icons and folders in a bunch of nifty ways. It's like a room, with walls and a floor. You can throw pictures at the walls, and they stay there. You can create piles of files and fan them out or display them in several ways.
If you want to post something to facebook (or twitter) you just throw the picture or document at the facebook (or twitter) icon on the wall. It automatically uploads itself and appears right away.
You can search for a word, and the program highlights all the documents on the desktop that contain the word. I"m moving all my folders to my desktop---maybe I'll finally be able to find stuff. It's fun to use, and it's free. Time to break free from the ancient Windows folder system
**Update - This thing is a RAM hog, so if you have an older computer it would probably slow it down too much. Try it if you're curious, and uninstall it if necessary.
